Missionary veterans honored

Six missionary veteran couples were honored this week at the 64th Regular Convention of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in Houston, Texas. The missionaries, who were recognized by Synod President Dr. Gerald B. Kieschnick, together represent more than 220 years of service on the mission field.

Veteran missionary couples to be honored at 2010 Synod convention

LCMS President Gerald Kieschnick will present six veteran LCMS missionary couples to the LCMS Convention in July 2010 to be honored for their years of faithful service to the Lord. These missionaries have served a total of more than 220 years through LCMS World Mission.
